Háteigsskóli School Rules

respect - cooperation - well-being
Háteigsskóli has new school rules!
School administrators worked with the Student Rights Council this spring to launch a project to develop new school rules for Háteigsskóli.
Using the school's motto — respect, cooperation, well-being — as their guide, the Student Rights Council prepared lessons for their classes to discuss the school's values and brainstorm what kind of rules students wanted for their school.
"We talked to our classes about rules. We brainstormed ways to improve the school, and it went really well."
Most Student Rights Council members felt the collaboration with their classmates on the new rules was highly successful. This fall, the rules have been framed and are now displayed on walls in all classrooms and hallways throughout the school.
"We discussed what rules are and why they matter."
The Student Rights Council and Háteigsskóli staff are extremely proud of the results and thank everyone who contributed to this important project.
